The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a general score of 66.3, which is a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's 60.4 global score. Although it's the best in this review, the Galaxy Note 10.1 body is thicker and noticeably heavier than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 10.1 has a newer 4.4 version and Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3 version, so it gives you a couple additional features.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have 4 cores, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a GPU. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a higher count of pixels per inch of screen.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a greater camera than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a camera with a 5 megapixels. The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 32 GB, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 56 GB more internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a really longer battery duration than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 46 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
