Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a general score of 60.4, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s overall score of 60.4. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a just a little thinner but notably heavier portable tablet than the Galaxy Tab A (2016). These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has the older 4.3 version and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with an extra GPU. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a brighter display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a quite lower pixels density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a little bigger display.

Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. Both of them have the same (HD) video quality, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rates. Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a very superior memory for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have the same 8 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity.

Although Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab A (2016), letting go some features and specifications.
