Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, with a 62.8 score against 60.4. Both tablets we are comparing here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3 version. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 design is somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a bit higher resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a just a little greater display pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a very superior memory for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB and 16 GB internal storage capacity.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM memory, and they both have 4 cores, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a graphics processing unit. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same (HD) video quality and a 5 MP camera in the back.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 14% greater battery size.
