The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, with a general score of 74.5 against 60.4. Both tablets in this review have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3 version, giving some nice extra features and a performance increase. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is thinner and somewhat lighter than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a sharper display than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a lot better 2560 x 1600px resolution, a bit bigger display and much more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much greater storage to install games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 128 GB and 32 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with just a little better performance than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and 4 more processing cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a much better camera than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a much more MP camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with just a little better battery duration than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 4900mAh battery size against 4800mAh.
