The Huawei MediaPad X2 is much better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, with a overall score of 72.7 against 62.8. Even though Huawei MediaPad X2 and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 were released only a couple of months apart, Huawei MediaPad X2 is way lighter and just a little thinner. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei MediaPad X2 has an older 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat.

Huawei MediaPad X2 features a better performing processor than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 64 bits processor, a higher amount of RAM and 4 more cpu cores. Huawei MediaPad X2 has an incredibly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater pixels density and a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1200.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a better camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a back facing camera with a much better resolution and a much higher 1920x1080 video quality. Huawei MediaPad X2 features much more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has more internal memory.

Huawei MediaPad X2 has greater battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 19% more battery size.
