Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is just a bit better than the Lenovo Miix2, having a general score of 63.4 against 59.3. The Microsoft Surface 2 body is way heavier and a little bit thicker than Lenovo Miix2. Both of these tablets include Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface 2 has a more recent RT 8.1 version while Lenovo Miix2 has Windows 8.1 version, providing some nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Lenovo Miix2 counts with a bit better processor than Microsoft Surface 2. They have 2 GB of RAM memory and 4 CPU cores. Lenovo Miix2 has a bit sharper display than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has a bit worse pixels density, a way lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a really smaller screen.
Lenovo Miix2 has a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a battery lifetime that is just as good as the Lenovo Miix2 one. The Microsoft Surface 2 and Lenovo Miix2 have very similar cameras, both have the same resolution back-facing camera.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Lenovo Miix2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Lenovo Miix2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface 2, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Lenovo Miix2, letting go a couple specifications.
