The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has an overall score of 75.5, which is much better than Lenovo Moto Tab's global score of 64.4. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Lenovo Moto Tab has Android 7.1 Nougat version, so it offers a couple nice extra features. Even though the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 and the Lenovo Moto Tab were only released 7 months apart, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 is just a little thinner and extremely lighter.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a better looking display than Lenovo Moto Tab, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater number of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 counts with just a bit better processing power than Lenovo Moto Tab, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Lenovo Moto Tab, because it has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Lenovo Moto Tab, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Lenovo Moto Tab features a way better battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has a 37% larger battery size.
