Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a little bit better than the Lenovo Moto Tab, with a 66.3 score against 64.4. Even being the best portable tablet we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is an a lot older, somewhat thicker and heavier portable tablet than Lenovo Moto Tab. Both devices we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has the previous 4.4 version and Lenovo Moto Tab has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
Lenovo Moto Tab features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Lenovo Moto Tab also has a way higher count of pixels per inch of screen and a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a bigger memory for apps and games than Lenovo Moto Tab, because although it has an external SD slot that allows 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Lenovo Moto Tab features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Lenovo Moto Tab also has a greater number of cores. Lenovo Moto Tab shoots way better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video resolution and a camera with lot more megapixels.
The Lenovo Moto Tab and the Galaxy Note 10.1 have similar battery durations.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Lenovo Moto Tab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lenovo Moto Tab. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Lenovo Moto Tab, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
