Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a score of 65.7, which is slightly better than Lenovo Moto Tab's global score of 64.4. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) and the Lenovo Moto Tab were only released with a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) body is somewhat thicker but also much lighter. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Lenovo Moto Tab has Android 7.1 Nougat, so it gives a couple additional features.

Lenovo Moto Tab has a little sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a bigger screen and a just a bit better quantity of pixels per inch of display. The Lenovo Moto Tab counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Lenovo Moto Tab also has a higher number of cores (and also faster).

The Lenovo Moto Tab counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage capacity. The Lenovo Moto Tab has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a 40% bigger battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a much better camera than Lenovo Moto Tab. They have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a back facing camera with an 8 MP and the same video quality.
