Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a global score of 63.4, which is much better than Lenovo Tab A10's global score of 56. Microsoft Surface 2 is a somewhat heavier tablet than Lenovo Tab A10, but they have the same thickness. The Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and Lenovo Tab A10 comes with Android 4.4 operating system.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit better processing power than Lenovo Tab A10, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with just a bit better looking display than Lenovo Tab A10, because it has a higher pixels quantity in each inch of display, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a quite larger screen.
The Microsoft Surface 2's camera is very similar to Lenovo Tab A10's camera, both of them have a camera with a 5 megapixels. Microsoft Surface 2 features much more memory to store more apps and games than Lenovo Tab A10, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Lenovo Tab A10 has a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Lenovo Tab A10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Lenovo Tab A10. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 2, else you can save some dollars and get the Lenovo Tab A10, letting go a couple features and specs.
