The Microsoft Surface 2 has a global score of 63.4, which is better than Lenovo TAB3 8's overall score of 54.8. Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and Lenovo TAB3 8 works with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit better processor than Lenovo TAB3 8. Both have 2 GB of RAM and a Quad-Core processor.
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a much better display than Lenovo TAB3 8, because it has a much bigger screen, a much higher 1080 x 1920px resolution and a just a bit more pixels per display inch. The Microsoft Surface 2 has a camera that is just as good as Lenovo TAB3 8's camera, both have a same resolution back camera.
Microsoft Surface 2 features a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Lenovo TAB3 8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Lenovo TAB3 8 features a superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface 2.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Lenovo TAB3 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lenovo TAB3 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Lenovo TAB3 8, resigning a couple specs and features.
