The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is much better than the Lenovo ThinkPad 8's global score of 64.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a way heavier and a little thicker tablet than Lenovo ThinkPad 8. These tablets work with Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a more recent 8.1 Pro version while Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has Windows 8.1 version.
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features just a little better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features just a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher screen density.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal storage.
