Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is way better than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, having a general score of 81.5 against 64.2. Both devices in this review use Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a more recent 10 version and Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has Windows 8.1 version, so it offers a couple additional features and performance optimizations. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a a bit thinner but heavier tablet than Lenovo ThinkPad 8.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, because although it has a way worse 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a bit better pixel quantity in each inch of screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a processing unit that is just as good as Lenovo ThinkPad 8's CPU, and although the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has 14 GB more RAM, they both have a Quad-Core CPU.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 and Lenovo ThinkPad 8 feature incredibly similar cameras, they have the same (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back camera. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6's battery lifetime is just as good as Lenovo ThinkPad 8's battery life.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 costs more money than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
