Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a score of 66.9, which is a little bit better than the Lenovo ThinkPad 8's general score of 64.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 construction is extremely heavier but just a little thinner than Lenovo ThinkPad 8. These devices use Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has newer 10 version and Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has Windows 8.1 version, providing the user some additional features.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features just a bit better processing power than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with more RAM. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, because although it has a much lower 1920 x 1200 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher screen pixels density.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7's memory to install applications and games is just as good as the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 one, and although the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has no slot for an external memory card, they both have the same internal memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a battery duration that's very similar to the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 one.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a camera that is very similar to the camera in Lenovo ThinkPad 8, both of them have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same resolution back facing camera.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Lenovo ThinkPad 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 7, else you can save some money and buy the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, letting go a couple features and specifications.
