Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is way more expensive than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Lenovo ThinkPad 8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia Tablet Z, else you can save some money and get the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, resigning a couple features and specs.
