Comparison review
Huawei MediaPad M2 is much better than the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, getting a score of 65.5 against 57.3. Although the Huawei MediaPad M2 and the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch were released with only a few months difference, the Huawei MediaPad M2 body is just a little bit thicker but a lot lighter. Huawei MediaPad M2 has a more vivid display than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a same size display, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has more pixels per inch of display and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 features a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has more internal storage. Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a faster CPU than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 1 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores (and they are faster).
Huawei MediaPad M2 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch. Both have a 8 mega-pixels camera in the back. The Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch counts with longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M2, because it has a 29 percent greater battery capacity.
