Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a general score of 75.5, which is way better than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus's overall score of 62.2. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 construction is newer and noticeably lighter, but way thicker than the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features just a little better performance than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also has a larger amount of RAM. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a bit sharper display than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a bit greater number of pixels in each inch of screen.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 shoots much better photos and videos than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus. Both have a back facing camera with a 13 mega pixels. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 256 GB and 128 GB internal storage.
Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus counts with a much better battery duration than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has 9300mAh of battery capacity.
