The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has an overall score of 65.7, which is just a bit better than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus's global score of 62.2. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is much thicker than the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus, it's much lighter and also newer. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, providing a couple additional features.

Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a larger number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a much better resolution of 2560 x 1440, a larger screen and a lot better pixel quantity per display inch.
