Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a score of 59.7, which is just a bit better than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8's 56.6 overall score. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s design is lighter but incredibly thicker than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 has Android 4.4 version, providing some extra features and improved performance.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has just a bit better performance than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 features just a bit better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). Both of them have a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display, exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a screen of the same size.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a SD card slot that supports up to 1000 GB. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 features a much better battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 takes much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much better 5 MP resolution camera.
