Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface RT is a little bit better than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8, with a 58.4 score against 56.6. Although it's the best tablet device we compare here, the Microsoft Surface RT construction is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker than the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8. The Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT OS, and Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 has Android 4.4 OS.
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 has a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 800 x 1280px and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a greater screen density. Microsoft Surface RT has just a bit better processing power than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Microsoft Surface RT also has a much better GPU running at 520 MHz and more RAM memory.
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a way higher 5 megapixels resolution back camera. Microsoft Surface RT features just a bit bigger storage for apps and games than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage.
Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 has a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface RT.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, Microsoft Surface RT is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
