LG G Pad 8.3 has a score of 65.9, which is just a bit better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2's 62.5 score. These tablets use Android operating system, but LG G Pad 8.3 has older 4.4 version while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10 version. LG G Pad 8.3 is a notably older and just a bit heavier tablet than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but LG managed to build it a little thinner anyway.
The LG G Pad 8.3 features a way better looking screen than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a greater pixels density, a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a little bigger display. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a bit better processing unit than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has 1 GB more RAM memory.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 32 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB. LG G Pad 8.3 shoots much better videos and photos than Alcatel JOY TAB 2. Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 video definition and a back-facing camera with a 5 mega-pixels.
The LG G Pad 8.3 features a little longer battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 4600mAh battery capacity.
Although LG G Pad 8.3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Alcatel JOY TAB 2, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
