Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than LG G Pad 8.3, with a 67.9 score against 65.9. These tablets come with the same Android 4.4 OS (Operating System), so they should give identical operating system features. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 body is newer and just a little thinner, but also a little bit heavier than the LG G Pad 8.3.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad 8.3. Both have a 2 GB RAM memory and 4 cores. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features just a bit better looking display than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a quite bigger display, a little more pixels per inch of display and a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution.
LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a superior camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures in low-light environments, a lower video resolution and a lot less mega-pixels back-facing camera. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.3, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
