Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is a bit better than LG G Pad 8.3, getting a 66.7 score against 65.9. Although Samsung Ativ Tab is better than LG G Pad 8.3, we must note that it is also older, much heavier and a bit thicker. The Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT OS, and LG G Pad 8.3 counts with Android 4.4 OS. The LG G Pad 8.3 has an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a lot better pixel count per display inch.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 48 GB more internal storage. The LG G Pad 8.3 has a little better processing power than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster).
Samsung Ativ Tab has a really longer battery duration than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 78% larger battery capacity. The LG G Pad 8.3 shoots greater photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a much higher 1920x1080 video quality.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save some dollars and get the LG G Pad 8.3, resigning some specifications.
