The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a score of 66.3, which is a little bit better than LG G Pad 8.3's 65.9 score. These devices include the same Android 4.4 OS (Operating System), so they should count with identical OS features. Even being the best portable tablet we are comparing, the Galaxy Note 10.1 body is older, much heavier and just a little thicker than LG G Pad 8.3.
The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a way better number of pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory.
The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have 2 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. LG G Pad 8.3 takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a 5 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a very superior battery duration than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 52% more battery size.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.3, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
