Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has an overall score of 66.5, which is just a bit better than LG G Pad 8.3's general score of 65.9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 construction is somewhat lighter but somewhat thicker than LG G Pad 8.3, and they were only released 4 months apart. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has 4.4.2 version and LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version, giving you some additional features and optimized performance.

Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with a little bit better performance than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has less cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The LG G Pad 8.3 features a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a larger display, much more pixels per inch of display and a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920px.

LG G Pad 8.3 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a back camera with way more MP. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with as much memory to install applications and games as the LG G Pad 8.3, both have an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB and the same 16 GB internal memory capacity.

LG G Pad 8.3 counts with just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is a better device, it costs more than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G Pad 8.3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.3, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
