Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a little bit better than the LG G Pad 8.3, getting a score of 67 against 65.9. Even though the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and LG G Pad 8.3 were only released 7 months apart, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 body is a little thinner but also noticeably heavier than LG G Pad 8.3. Both tablets in our current comparison have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the newer 4.4.2 version and LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version, giving you some extra features and performance tweaks.
LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 4 processing cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with more RAM memory. LG G Pad 8.3 features a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels count per inch of display and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and LG G Pad 8.3 both have extremely similar storage for apps and games, both have equal internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB. LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much better resolution camera in the back and a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a much longer battery duration than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is not only the best tablets of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
