The LG G Pad 8.3 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, having a score of 8.24 against 7.82. Even though LG G Pad 8.3 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 were only released with a couple months difference, the LG G Pad 8.3 design is just a little bit thinner but also somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. These devices have Android OS, but the LG G Pad 8.3 has the previous 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2.

The LG G Pad 8.3 features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has 512 MB more RAM memory. The LG G Pad 8.3 features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a higher pixels count per inch of display and a bigger display.

LG G Pad 8.3 has a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 64 GB and 8 GB more internal memory. The LG G Pad 8.3 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a same size aperture, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back-facing camera with a way better resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a bit better battery performance than LG G Pad 8.3, although it has a 13% smaller battery size.

The LG G Pad 8.3 costs exactly the same than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, which makes it a simple decision.
