LG G Pad 8.3 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, getting a 65.9 score against 65.6. Although LG G Pad 8.3 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 were released with only 7 months difference, the LG G Pad 8.3 design is heavier but also just a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. Both devices in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G Pad 8.3 has an older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2.

The LG G Pad 8.3 features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a greater amount of RAM. LG G Pad 8.3 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a F2.6 camera aperture, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a way higher video definition.

LG G Pad 8.3 has a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although LG G Pad 8.3 is a better device, it costs a bit more than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
