Comparison review

The LG G Pad 8.3 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, with a 65.9 score against 62.8. Both devices we are comparing work with Android OS, but the LG G Pad 8.3 has an older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat. LG G Pad 8.3's design is older, just a little heavier and thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0.

LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way higher pixel density, a quite larger display and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px. The LG G Pad 8.3 has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a greater amount of RAM.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a little bit better storage capacity for apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 128 GB. LG G Pad 8.3 has just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 4600mAh battery size.

LG G Pad 8.3 takes way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a lot better (Full HD) video resolution.

The LG G Pad 8.3 costs a bit more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
