The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has an overall score of 77.5, which is better than LG G Pad 8.3's general score of 65.9. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version, giving a couple additional features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a much newer tablet than the LG G Pad 8.3, although it's incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker.
The LG G Pad 8.3 features a better display than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with a just a bit better count of pixels per display inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 48 GB more internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a little faster processing unit than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro shoots clearer photographs and videos than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a back-facing camera with way more MP and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a much better battery duration than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 65 percent greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G Pad 8.3. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.3, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
