Comparison review

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is better than the LG G Pad 8.3, getting a global score of 78.5 against 65.9. Both tablets we compare here have the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system). The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 construction is a little bit thinner but extremely heavier than the LG G Pad 8.3, and both of them were released only 4 months apart.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a bit faster CPU than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has 1 GB more RAM memory and a graphics co-processor. LG G Pad 8.3 and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 both have extremely similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a little inferior number of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a lot bigger display and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with much more memory capacity for apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a much better battery duration than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 9500mAh of battery capacity against 4600mAh.

LG G Pad 8.3 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution and a lower video definition.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 costs more than the LG G Pad 8.3, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
