LG G Pad 8.3 is much better than Sony Tablet S, having a score of 65.9 against 57.5. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the LG G Pad 8.3 has the newer 4.4 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version. The LG G Pad 8.3 is a a lot newer device, and it's also thinner and way lighter than the Sony Tablet S.

LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a way better display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher display pixel density and a much better 1200 x 1920 resolution. The LG G Pad 8.3 has a greater performance than Sony Tablet S, because it has more cpu cores and 1 GB more RAM.

The LG G Pad 8.3 takes better pictures and videos than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. The Sony Tablet S has a quite bigger storage to store more games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.

The Sony Tablet S features a little longer battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 9 percent more battery capacity.
