Comparison review

LG G Pad 8.3 is better than the Xperia Tablet S, with a overall score of 65.9 against 58.9. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS, but the LG G Pad 8.3 has the newer 4.4 version while Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1, so it gives lots of additional features and better performance. The LG G Pad 8.3 is a newer tablet, and it's also thinner and lighter than Xperia Tablet S.

The LG G Pad 8.3 features a way better screen than Sony Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the display and a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution. LG G Pad 8.3 features a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Tablet S, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with more RAM.

The LG G Pad 8.3 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a way less mega pixels resolution back camera. Xperia Tablet S features a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 48 GB more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a much better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Tablet S.

LG G Pad 8.3 is not only the best tablets of the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest, making buying this tablet an easy decision.
