Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an overall score of 67.9, which is much better than LG G Pad F 8.0's 58.2 overall score. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is thinner but just a little heavier than LG G Pad F 8.0, and both were released with only a couple months difference. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.4 version and LG G Pad F 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better display than LG G Pad F 8.0, because it has a quite bigger screen, a much higher screen density and a much better 1600 x 2560 resolution. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has more memory for apps and games than LG G Pad F 8.0, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a better processor than LG G Pad F 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a greater amount of RAM. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 captures much clearer photographs and videos than LG G Pad F 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a back facing camera with a way better 8 megapixels resolution.
LG G Pad F 8.0 has a much better battery life than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
