Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Tablet S has a global score of 58.9, which is just a bit better than the LG G Pad F 8.0's 58.2 overall score. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Tablet S has the previous 4.1.1 version and LG G Pad F 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. Although it's the best we are comparing, we must tell that it is also notably older, incredibly heavier and incredibly thicker.

Sony Xperia Tablet S has just a little better hardware performance than LG G Pad F 8.0, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and a Quad-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also has an additional graphics processor. The Xperia Tablet S has a bit better display than LG G Pad F 8.0, because although it has a little inferior pixels amount in each inch in the display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Xperia Tablet S also counts with a larger screen.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a way worse 5 megapixels resolution back facing camera. Xperia Tablet S has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than LG G Pad F 8.0, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 128 GB, the Xperia Tablet S also has 64 GB internal memory.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 features a much better battery life than Sony Xperia Tablet S.
