Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a little bit better than the LG G Pad II 10.1, with a score of 67.9 against 67.4. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is a lot lighter and a little bit thinner than the LG G Pad II 10.1, even though it was released about 11 months before. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.4 version and LG G Pad II 10.1 has Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much more vibrant screen than LG G Pad II 10.1, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way greater pixel density and a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
