LG G Pad II 10.1 has a global score of 67.4, which is better than the LG G Pad II 8.0's score of 58.3. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but LG G Pad II 10.1 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version while LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop, giving a couple additional features and performance optimizations. The LG G Pad II 10.1 body is somewhat thinner but incredibly heavier than the LG G Pad II 8.0, and both were released only a few months apart.

LG G Pad II 10.1 counts with a bit faster CPU than LG G Pad II 8.0, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the LG G Pad II 10.1 also has a larger amount of RAM. LG G Pad II 10.1 has just a bit better display than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a little higher pixels count per display inch, a larger display and a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution.

LG G Pad II 10.1 counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than LG G Pad II 8.0, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The LG G Pad II 10.1 features a very superior battery life than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has 7400mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 has a much better camera than LG G Pad II 8.0. Both have the same resolution back-facing camera.
