The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is better than LG G Pad II 8.0, with a general score of 67.9 against 58.3. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's construction is somewhat thinner than LG G Pad II 8.0, but it's just a little bit heavier and was released around a year before. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.4 version and LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
