LG G Pad III 8.0 has a score of 64.3, which is better than LG G Pad II 8.0's 58.3 overall score. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad III 8.0 has newer 7.0 Nougat version and LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. LG G Pad III 8.0's body is somewhat thinner and lighter than LG G Pad II 8.0.

The LG G Pad III 8.0 features a much better screen than LG G Pad II 8.0, and although they both have a same size screen, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also has more pixels per display inch and a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. LG G Pad III 8.0 has a bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores.

The LG G Pad III 8.0 and LG G Pad II 8.0 count with quite similar cameras, they have the same resolution back camera. LG G Pad III 8.0 features a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad II 8.0, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.

LG G Pad III 8.0 has a bit longer battery life than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
