The LG G Pad X 10.1 has a global score of 67.4, which is better than the LG G Pad II 8.0's overall score of 58.3. Although LG G Pad X 10.1 and the LG G Pad II 8.0 were released with only 1 months difference, LG G Pad X 10.1's body is heavier but also thinner. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the LG G Pad X 10.1 has 5.1 Lollipop version while LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop, so it counts with a lot of extra features.

LG G Pad X 10.1 has a bit faster processing unit than LG G Pad II 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad X 10.1 also has 512 MB more RAM memory. The LG G Pad X 10.1 counts with a bit sharper screen than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a bit better amount of pixels per display inch, a bigger display and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px.

LG G Pad X 10.1 takes just a bit better photos and videos than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels. The LG G Pad X 10.1 counts with much more memory capacity for apps and games than LG G Pad II 8.0, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG G Pad X 10.1 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.

LG G Pad X 10.1 has a very superior battery lifetime than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a 7400mAh battery capacity against 4200mAh.
