Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is much better than the LG G Pad II 8.0, getting a general score of 70.2 against 58.3. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) and the LG G Pad II 8.0 were only released with a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016)'s body is just a little thinner but also much heavier. Both devices we are comparing include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has newer 8.1 Oreo version and LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop, offering some nice extra features and a performance increase.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a little better hardware performance than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a greater number of cores and 512 MB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a bit sharper display than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a way higher 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution, a larger display and a bit higher pixels number in each inch in the screen.
