Xperia Tablet Z has a score of 68.5, which is much better than LG G Pad II 8.0's 58.3 overall score. These devices work with Android OS, but the Xperia Tablet Z has 4.4.4 version while LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. Even though the Xperia Tablet Z is extremely older and notably heavier than the LG G Pad II 8.0, it's body is still extremely thinner.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a bit more powerful processing unit than LG G Pad II 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has an extra GPU and 512 MB more RAM.
