LG G Pad III 8.0 is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a overall score of 64.3 against 58.6. The LG G Pad III 8.0 is a lighter and somewhat thinner tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but LG G Pad III 8.0 has an older 7.0 Nougat version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a bit better processor than LG G Pad III 8.0, although it has 4 lesser CPU cores , they both have 2 GB of RAM memory. The LG G Pad III 8.0 has a much better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have a screen of the same size, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a greater pixel amount per screen inch.
The LG G Pad III 8.0 has a slightly bigger storage for applications and games than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The LG G Pad III 8.0 features a better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a way better resolution back-facing camera and a much higher 1920x1080 video resolution.
LG G Pad III 8.0 has a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
