Comparison review

The LG G Pad III 8.0 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), with a general score of 64.3 against 60.7. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad III 8.0 has a more recent 7.0 Nougat version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1, providing some extra features. The LG G Pad III 8.0 body is somewhat lighter and much thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0).

LG G Pad III 8.0 has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a lot more pixels per display inch, a quite bigger display and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920px. LG G Pad III 8.0 has a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of faster cores.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) takes a little bit better videos and photos than LG G Pad III 8.0, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot lower 3 megapixels resolution and a way worse 1280x720 video definition. The LG G Pad III 8.0 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has just 16 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB.

The LG G Pad III 8.0 features greater battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
