Comparison review

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is slightly better than the LG G Pad III 8.0, having a 65.7 score against 64.3. Although it's the best tablet we compare here, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a somewhat heavier and thicker tablet than the LG G Pad III 8.0. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad III 8.0 has Android 7.0 Nougat.

LG G Pad III 8.0 has a brighter display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a display with the same size, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and more pixels per inch of screen. The LG G Pad III 8.0 features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.

The LG G Pad III 8.0 has a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have the same RAM amount, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also has 4 more cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a little longer battery performance than LG G Pad III 8.0, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) counts with a much better camera than LG G Pad III 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
