Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is just a bit better than the LG G Pad III 8.0, getting a 69 score against 64.3. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is a somewhat heavier portable tablet than LG G Pad III 8.0, but both have the same thickness. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has an older 11 version while LG G Pad III 8.0 has Android 7.0 Nougat.

The LG G Pad III 8.0 counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), and although they both have a display of the same size, the LG G Pad III 8.0 also has a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. The LG G Pad III 8.0 features a better memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because although it has only 16 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has a bit better performance than LG G Pad III 8.0, although it has an inferior number of cores , they both have a 2 GB RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG G Pad III 8.0, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) shoots much better photographs and videos than LG G Pad III 8.0, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) also has a lot higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
