Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is better than LG G Pad X 10.1, with a 74.3 score against 67.4. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has an older 4.4.2 version and LG G Pad X 10.1 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is an older tablet than the LG G Pad X 10.1, but Samsung managed to make it a bit lighter and somewhat thinner.

LG G Pad X 10.1 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, although it has a lower amount of RAM and 4 lesser cores (but faster). The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a lot better screen than LG G Pad X 10.1, because it has a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560, a bit bigger screen and a higher pixel count per inch of display.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a superior camera than LG G Pad X 10.1. They have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, a same resolution camera and the same video frame rates. LG G Pad X 10.1 features a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG G Pad X 10.1 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a bit better battery lifetime than LG G Pad X 10.1, because it has a 7900mAh battery size instead of 7400mAh.
