The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is way better than LG Optimus Pad LTE's 56.4 overall score. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a newer portable tablet, and it is also a lot lighter and somewhat thinner than the LG Optimus Pad LTE. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.2.2 version while LG Optimus Pad LTE has Android 3.2 version, counting with some nice extra features and performance tweaks.
