The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a general score of 58.1, which is slightly better than the LG Optimus Pad LTE's 56.4 global score. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a more recent 4.0.4 version and LG Optimus Pad LTE has Android 3.2 version. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 design is just a little thinner than LG Optimus Pad LTE, but it's somewhat heavier and was released just 10 months before.

LG Optimus Pad LTE features a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 10.1. They have the same number of cores. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a little bit better looking screen than LG Optimus Pad LTE, because although it has a bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a little bit higher 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a quite larger screen.

The LG Optimus Pad LTE has a much better memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the LG Optimus Pad LTE also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 32 GB. The LG Optimus Pad LTE and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 have quite similar cameras, although the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a camera with a lot worse resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's battery lifetime is just as good as LG Optimus Pad LTE's battery life.
