Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a general score of 62.8, which is better than the LG Optimus Pad LTE's 56.4 overall score. These tablets include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while LG Optimus Pad LTE has Android 3.2 version. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a much newer tablet, and it is also way lighter and thinner than LG Optimus Pad LTE.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a little better hardware performance than LG Optimus Pad LTE, because it has a higher number of cores. The LG Optimus Pad LTE has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a bit greater pixel number per inch in the screen, a slightly higher resolution of 720 x 1280 and a bit bigger display.

LG Optimus Pad LTE takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
